Casual jacket from ESCADA. Notched lapels. Long sleeves. Shaped by princess seams front and back.
Matching topstitching on the edges of lapels, pockets, and jacket edges.
Two buttons close the front. Extra button still attached inside.
The pockets have not been opened - I leave that to the buyer, if desired.
The jacket is styled on the shorter side.
The outer fabric is mostly woven cotton with a little stretchy stuff for ease of movement. Unlined, but seams are beautifully finished, as with most Escada garments.
The color is a bright navy blue. You will see it as blue, NOT that really dark navy that almost looks black. Please allow for different color displays, on different computer monitors. I try to describe as best I can in the photos and description, but such are my photographic skills.
Purchased at Neiman-Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue - I forget which, but those are my happy hunting grounds.
It is a great jacket for looking polished as you go about your day, or wear to work.
CONDITION: Excellent - new is new. No pulls, rips, stains, weird smells, etc. Its been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Id love to wear it, but I retired not too long ago, and I am trying to do a good Kondo-style cleanout, recognizing my new lifestyle, especially of things Ive never worn yet. I just dont see it in my future.
SIZE ON LABEL: 38. I usually wear a USA size 4-6. I think this is DE (German) sizing. Please see measurements of the garment below for best fit.
FABRIC: Shell: 97% cotton, 3% elastane. (unlined) Dry clean only.
MEASUREMENTS are taken of the actual garment, measuring straight across, laying flat, i.e. double for bust, waist, sweep at the hem. It is good to compare these measurements with your other garments that fit you well of similar style and material. I try to be as accurate as I can.

Unfortunately, I must ask the buyer for a contribution for shipping these days. The IRS VASTLY lowered the limit on how much a person can earn on third party platforms like eBay, Craigs list, etsy, etc. So that I dont get tagged with paying income tax on what Id pay directly to USPS for shipping (if I included it in my pricing,) I have clearly separated the shipping cost that I ask the buyer to contribute.
After many complaints, the IRS postponed the reg for 2025. Well see what happens for 2026 and beyond.
