With illustrations throughout the text by Marie Kean, including a beautiful colour plate as the frontispiece.
This childrens story book is very scarce.
Undated, dated from Jisc.
The dust wrapper has some loss, and is missing the front leaf. Prior owners undated ink inscription to the first free endpaper.
CONDITION
In the original publishers cloth binding and dust wrapper. Externally, smart. The dust wrapper has some loss and is missing the front leaf and some of the top left of the front board and head of the spine. The binding has some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and minor bumping to the extremities. Prior owners ink inscription to the first free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
