This versatile little mini dress, tunic, or beach cover up is from the highly sought after Jean Paul Gaultier Maille Femme label from the late 1990s or early 00s. The dress has a wide bateau neckline in a shiny teal ribbed knit that extends all the way to the edges of the cap sleeves. The front of the dress features vivid yellow tropical flowers offset with large black leaves and diagonal stripes that lead to a geometric black and beige patterned hemline. The diagonal stripes and hemline are repeated on the back. The sides of the dress are straight and finished with black grosgrain ribbon needed to reinforce the big black snaps that open and close the full length of the dress on both sides (see photos).
