1970 witnessed the relatively novel, yet continued evolution of eyewears medical device to fashion accessory transition. Many lines throughout the US and Europe were contributing to this drastic yet, delightful shift. Fashion houses were producing concepts that held no bounds upon their imaginations and machinations. Fashion lines originally developing haute couture were branching and diverging into eyewear as accessory departments burgeoned. Dior, Khanh, YSL, we developing into pioneering names, breeding new principles and ideas.

Linda Farrow found acclaim during this evolution in France. Originally, a designer she asserted great prowess , adroitness, and prestige in eyewear development. Always with an avant-garde mentality, the concepts gained the recognition and eventual collaborations with Dior and YSL, to name a few.

Sadly, the line went dormant after some sustained strength and consistency. Putting frames on people like Al Pacino in Scarface as well as Yoko Ono.

Early 2000s, the line was reborn with the same allure and panache as before. Producing eyewear with the same brilliance as it always had, it was as if the line never went quiet. Launched by Linda Farrows son, Simon, the line re-introduced itself with a vintage collection. That prestige maintains today with newer and greater concepts to honor the origins of the lines heart.
