This is an indigo fabric series that combines diamond-shaped sashiko with gingham check. It is woven with three colors of thread: indigo, light blue, and beige, which are dyed with indigo dye. This season, it is woven with as low a gauge and fine thread as possible, assuming it will be worn in the summer. The combination of the sashiko weave and the thin fabric texture creates a fabric that feels comfortable against the skin. It is also very exciting to see how the indigo dye changes over time. The design is inspired by vintage work, with rounded pockets. The silhouette is generally clean. In addition, assuming years of wear, the stitching is robust, with triple-stitched rolled seams as the main method.
