This fictional novel was written semi anonymously, being attributed to J. S*****R. This remarkable work of fiction tells the story of a madman and his fancies, including descriptions of a new and marvellous world and the Greek gods, with information to the front of the novel on the various Gods and their names as well as the nymphs and demi-gods.
CONDITION
In the publishers original cloth. Externally sound with front joint weak with front board nearly detached, spine lifted and rear joint tender, loss to the head and tail of the spine, bumping and rubbing to the extremities and marks to the rear boards. Hinges weak with marks to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and generally clean pages with the odd spot and minor handling mark, heavier to the blanks.
